Multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Martin Martis

Martis took us on a two year long adventure journey through musical soundscapes.
Full Moon Releases
A two year long Album, publishing one song on every full moon, with pauses between each song lasting the 27days of the Luna Month.
Martin Martis has thousands of listens from all around the world. And with this project has encourages people to become more connected with natural cycles whilst listening to music that the artist selects as being in synch with that moment.
Full Moon Releases has been an exploration of the artists solo work. After years of collaborations and working with bands, the Full Moon Releases project is a 'One Man Show' in the truest meaning. As well as being the single performer in the collection, Martin Martis has also composed, recorded, mixed and mastered all the songs. He has incorporated his passion for live recordings and improvisation with his love of studio mixing and layering in his endless mission of emotional expression and language in music. He has presented his listeners with deep, playful, grooving, intense and calming moments on a truly picturesque spectrum of musicianship and imagination.
"Thank you to all those on board, it has been a wonderful music adventure and I look forward to many new adventures in the future".
Stay tuned as there is more to come from Martin Martis and his journey with sound. With new projects in the oven Martin pauses from full moon releases to pursue the next cycle.
‘iChina’ - captures the stillness of frozen nature.
On the second of February 2014 the heaviest sleet on record suffocated everything outside in a thick layer of ice formed by freezing rain. Trees bowed and broke under the heavy weight. And the world looked made of wax crystals. Half a meter of snow lay beneath a brulee of solid ice undulating with the curves of the snow drifts beneath them.
‘iChina’ is this day recorded. Recordings from the ice itself, picked up as sheets and crashed down upon the frozen layer, shattering upon one another. The walk of snow boots stomping through the frozen ice to make footing in the snow. And also the running of a creek near by that was recorded the day before everything was cocooned. Not only does the song contain recordings from the day, it was also composed, completed and recorded that day. The centre piece of the song is a traditional Chinees traverse flute. A song made when the world was frozen over and everything was stopped and isolated. There was a feeling of no space and no time.
